This report looks at Saudi Arabia, a country that I had initially planned to examine later. But the recent diplomatic activity of China with the Saudi+Gulf countries has made it a much more interesting topic recently.
In part 1, we will see how Saudi Arabia was built on its relations with the USA and how this relationship is increasingly turning sour. And why the Saudis need a LOT of money, and sooner rather than later. Desperately.
In part 2, I will show the that Saudis are “suddenly” giving the cold shoulder to American diplomacy while welcoming China with open arms. I will explain how this is not all unexpected for those who have paid attention to the region in the last 5 years.
I will also look at how it will shape the future of the Middle East, the world’s energy supply, and the US-China rivalry. And the brewing fight for maintaining the dollar as the world reserve currency.
